Bikes, Kraftwerk AND a Miami Bass tie in? @MiamiBassInfo just posted the best gif ever.
miamibasshistory:

Tour de France was the debut single from Kraftwerk’s never finished 1983 album, “Tehcno Pop”. It inspired the 1986 Miami produced “Bass Overdrive Systems Experts” (aka B.O.S.E. - Bass Overdrive [Rockwell RWL 8100]).
When Ralf Hütter was hospitalized for a bicycling accident, the group didn’t revisit the album until 1986’s “Electric Cafe”. Essentially, the lag in their catalog ended the classic lineup as Wolfgang Flür and Karl Bartos left the group afterwards.
The iconic ‘Tour de France’ artwork was seemingly “sampled” from a 1953 Hungarian postage stamp.
